Pennsylvania Ski Resorts Are Sharing the Love this February With Romantic Deals for Two, Charity Events & Festival Fun

White Haven, PA – February 2020 – February is a great time to hit the Pennsylvania slopes. Whether you’re looking for a romantic Valentine’s getaway with your special someone or you want to take advantage of the long President’s Day weekend, the 21 member resorts of the  Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association (SkiPA) have fun to keep everyone’s heart pumping. Winter enthusiasts can enjoy romance on the slopes with deals for two, take part in multiple charity fundraisers, score some great lift ticket deals and even enjoy a festival or two.


Bear Creek Mountain Resort, Lehigh Valley
Friday, February 14, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Valentine’s Tubing Party
Enjoy a romantic night out on the slopes at Bear Creek with a “love” themed tubing party featuring a DJ spinning your favorite tunes. All tubing lanes will be lit up with red neon lights in celebration of Valentine’s Day.  It’s the perfect date night, whether with friends or the one you love. Tubing tickets are $30 per person. Tickets are limited and will sell out.

Blue Knob Resort invites couples to celebrate on the slopes with a special “Ski My Valentine” lift ticket deal. Simply make a dinner reservation to celebrate Valentine’s in the Blue Knob Conference Center and buy a lift ticket for you and your sweetie for only $35 each. 2020 Special Olympics Winter Games
Hundreds of athletes, coaches, families and friends representing all corners of Pennsylvania participate in Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s annual Winter Games at Seven Springs. During the course of the event, athletes and coaches participate in three days of exciting winter sports – competing in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Weeks of hard work and dedication in training is rewarded as athletes are cheered on and supported during competition by more than 1,000 enthusiastic volunteers.

The annual Pyro Musical Fireworks Display & Torch Light Parade will take place right in front of the lodge.
